Type IV

Air Canada rouge Airbus A319 after getting some neon green Type IV anti-icing fluid at YYZ (Pearson International) in Toronto, Canada.¬†Aircraft are usually “de-iced” with Type I which removes snow and ice while Type II, III, and IV are used to prevent icing from re-occuring after initial de-icing. (wikipedia) This aircraft (C-GBHR) is just about to return to YYZ from SAN (San Diego International) in California before another flight this evening to PHX (Sky Harbour International) in Phoenix, Arizona.
